Online Lettering + Brush Calligraphy Classes
Due to COVID-19, I have opted to conduct all classes online. I’m always one to look on the bright side, so here’s the good news: ANYONE, anywhere, can attend a class with me now! Whether you’re right here in Jacksonville, or 2000 miles away, I’d love to have you join one of my lettering classes. Below you’ll find more information, as well as how to submit a request for an online class with a group of your girlfriends or family members!

Brush pens are a fun and no-fuss way to get started with calligraphy!
In this class, you will learn the letterform fundamentals and familiarize yourself with the strokes that provide visual dimension and texture to your work. Practice is integral to your success in calligraphy design. We will experiment with several different styles to find the technique that you prefer. I will teach students stroke-by-stroke on how to create beautiful, elegant brush lettering that is perfect for invitations, stationery designs, marketing, advertisements, home décor, and more!

holiday themed Hand-lettering
Let’s have some seasonal fun with decorative items! Hand-Lettering is a form of word illustration that involves drawing letter characters instead of simply writing them. Attendees will learn simple techniques that can be used for countless DIY projects from carve-less pumpkin designs to hanging wood sign decor... the creativity and magic is literally at their fingertips!
This lesson includes a how-to on the following techniques:
* Sans Serif, Serif, and Script Letters
* Drop Shadowing
* Ombré Coloring
* Banners
* Flourishes
